Thanks for sharing the good news that Lee Barrow will be properly recognized at the next AEJMC convention.  It is good that those of us in the MAC division and friends were present to honor Lee in his presence last August in Chicago.  I spent some time with him and his wife after the MAC division session and both were very moved by the outpouring of gratitude that we all expressed in recognition of his leadership.
If anyone can or would like to make good use of it as part of any of the memorials,  I have a copy of the 1968  Open Letter to AEJ that Dr. Barrow wrote to the membership calling on them to make a serious commitment to racial inclusion and outlining a number of agenda items and avenues we are still following.  
Interestingly enough for the time, he mentions not only African Americans, but also names other people of color as worthy of attention.  As always, he was way ahead of his time and we're still trying to catch up with him.
