Hi, all,
And in other news... we're plugging away at getting those interviews with Trailblazers of Diversity...
1. See some that have been done: http://www.aejmc.org/home/?s=felix
You'll see the AEJMC website has posted some of the interviews. Still working on a few more...

2. We do need your help -- we have no funding to travel to do some of these important interviews, so please please please step forward and let us know
If you can do one in your area -- we have a list that we've all been adding to, instructions on how to do the interview, ESSENTIAL CONSENT FORMS, etc.
At: http://www.aejmc.org/home/2013/10/diversity-oral-history/

3. we'll be holding a workshop right before the AEJ conference in San Francisco, to learn some of the finer points... Details to come...

The grad student who is coordinating all this is Trent Boulter ([log in to unmask]), a doctoral student here at UT. Trent and I work closely on this --
We have great plans, but we need your help...

Thanks,
Maggie

That's what I also did--that's because a few years ago D-K shared that as a strategy.

I agree with Meta that we must continue[https://cdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png] to "toss our hats in the ring." For the MAC business meeting in San Francisco, I am putting on the agenda, a discussion about election processes, strategies and representation. Let me know if you have additional agenda items.

Paper winners will receive the awards at the end of the paper session in which they present. The reason for this change is to allow more time for discussion at the division meeting as members have mentioned they would like to delve into more topics, but we seem to run out of time each year.
