Dear Colleagues everywhere:

You have no idea how much I appreciate the kind words from so many of you about my receipt of the BEA Distinguished Educator Service Award on Sunday.  It was a great opening for the 60th anniversary of BEA-- as we reflected on the past and planned for the future. I hope to see you at one of the association meetings in the coming years.
