Anita, Felix and MAC Colleagues --

We definitely should put Kerner's 40th anniversary on the agenda. And we
certainly need to recognize Lee Barrow's work in forging the AEJ call for
J-education diversity.

Recently, I began a project to see who on the commission was still alive
and could do some oral interviews regarding the 1968 report and its charge
from President Johnson. Also, have gathered the most recent print and
broadcast news industry workforce stats by race and gender with comparisons
in each decade following the Kerner Report.

Would love to participate in this anniversary effort.

Many thanks Anita for reminding us of this mammoth occasion.

Sharon
