The University of Wyoming has an opening for a visiting scholar in African Amerian Studies beginning in Fall 2007. The initial appointment is for one year, contingent on funding and successful performance. 

The potential candidate is someone able to teach and conduct research relevant to African American Studies and the field in which he or she would be jointly apointed, including but not limited to history, Engilsh, journalism, communication, sociology or law.
