hi folks, I wanted to share a very nifty website that creates a scrolling marquee with any message you want to display! it comes out as a simple little image file that you can use on any webpage, inside Desire2Learn, etc., anywhere online that you would use an image. 

here's a link to my class Announcements today, where you can see a sign generated with this tool at the bottom of the announcement, along with a link to the generator. it sure is an easy way to add some animation to a webpage!
