Dear Colleagues,

I¹m developing a list of community media orgs that might need interns from
McGill University. Undergraduates, especially those studying
alternative/community, etc. media, often want to get some grounded
experience but they are finding it difficult to find opportunities. So, as
the undergrad program director for our Undergraduate Minor in Communication
Studies, I¹m putting together a list of organizations that Œmight¹ be
interested and then I¹m sending that to the director of the Internship
program to use with students seeking opportunities. Here¹s a description of

grants to the university so for these opportunities in community media
organizations, little, if any, funding Œfrom¹ the organization would be
needed. Please email me off-list if you have suggestions and/or would like
for your organization to be placed on this list. If there¹s student
interest, it¹s likely someone will contact you.
