Dear Colleagues,

Iım developing a list of community media orgs that might need interns from
McGill University. Undergraduates, especially those studying
alternative/community, etc. media, often want to get some grounded
experience but they are finding it difficult to find opportunities. So, as
the undergrad program director for our Undergraduate Minor in Communication
Studies, Iım putting together a list of organizations that Œmightı be
interested and then Iım sending that to the director of the Internship
program to use with students seeking opportunities. Hereıs a description of
our Facultyıs Internship Program - http://www.mcgill.ca/arts-internships/
and examples of current opportunities:
http://www.mcgill.ca/arts-internships/find/mcgill. Students are funded by
grants to the university so for these opportunities in community media
organizations, little, if any, funding Œfromı the organization would be
needed. Please email me off-list if you have suggestions and/or would like
for your organization to be placed on this list. If thereıs student
interest, itıs likely someone will contact you.

Thank you,
Becky Lentz
