GE Pcard Program Questions

Thank you for your emails to <mailto:[log in to unmask]>
[log in to unmask] addressing your concerns regarding the conversion
from the JPMChase to the GE credit card contract. The following is a
listing of the most commonly asked questions and answers. Please
continue to email <mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask] if you
have further questions.

1. Q: What's the difference between a ProCard and a Pcard?

A: As you may have noticed, the credit card program in the JPMChase
system was referred to as a ProCard, short for Procurement Card. In the
GE system it is referred to as a Pcard, short for Purchasing Card.

2. Q: When will training be available?

A: GE conversion training sessions have been scheduled for each campus
and they are listed below. Dates and times for these sessions are
listed below. Please go to
http://www.ou.edu/purchasing/home/procard/procard_training_form.htm and
fill out the registration form to signup for training.

3. Q: Can our department be trained separately?

A: Due to time constraints, we will not be able to train departments
separately. It is recommended that all previous cardholders attend the
GE conversion training sessions listed for June or July. Watch for
additional training session on the Purchasing website at
<http://www.ou.edu/purchasing/home> www.ou.edu/purchasing/home.

 4. Q: What will be covered in the GE conversion training?

A: The GE conversion training will cover a variety of topics including
the GE reconciling system, the application process, how to handle
reoccurring charges, outstanding charges and disputes, card activation,
card cancellation process and card destruction.

5. Q: When will applications for the new GE Pcards be available?

A: Information on where to obtain and how to complete the application
will follow via email in the next few days. Applications will be
completed and submitted online, allowing for easier processing for
cardholders and approvers.

6. Q: I've already registered for regular ProCard training in June. Is
that still available?

A: The JPMChase trainings for June have been cancelled, but if you need
a card before the GE cards are available, please email
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask]

7. Q: Can I continue to use my Chase card or does this mean it won't
work after June 17th?

A: We strongly encourage everyone to apply for a new GE card and attend
training before June 17th so that they are prepared when the JPMChase
cards are cancelled. We will work with each department to be assured
that all charges have posted prior to canceling the JPMChase cards.

8. Q: Does this mean that current cardholders will have to fill out a
new application and attend training?

A: Yes, JPMChase cardholders will need to complete an online GE
application and attend training prior to distribution of the card.

9. Q: How and when will I receive my new GE card?

A: After your application has been successfully submitted, your card
will arrive within three to five business days to the Purchasing office.
Distribution of cards will not change. Cards received prior to training
will be available after the training sessions or can be picked up at the
Purchasing office on Venture Drive.

10. Q: Can someone who has never had a card come to these GE conversion
sessions?

A: While new users are more than welcome to attend, the training is
meant for those who have used the JPMChase credit card system in the
past. Training will not cover important issues like card policy or
guidelines; it will only cover the differences in the two systems. All
new users will be required to attend a new user session, which will
provide more details about the program.

11. Q: Will there be a period of time when I will not have either credit
card and have to send invoices through FSS / AP?

A: No.

12. Q: Will the policies or guidelines for the credit card program
change?

A: No.
