Dear MACers,

Hope this note finds everyone well and in good spirits. I am attaching a paper call with an August 16 postmark deadline for the Southwest Symposium, to be held Oct. 26-27, 2007 in Norman, OK. The Southwest Symposium is the annual research conference sponsored by SWECJMC, a regional affiliate of AEJMC. Please view our newly designed website by Kwasi Boateng for more specific details about the organization. This year, we're hosting the meeting at OU, and you are welcome to come visit and participate.

On the personal side: after nearly two years service as Associate Dean, I have chosen to return to a full-time faculty position and resume a research position I put on hold, temporarily, when I took on administrative duties. It's been a rewarding experience, but I look forward to reactivating many writing and scholarly projects I had begun but have been unable to finish.

Best to all. Look forward to seeing you in DC and/or in other venues.

Sincerely,
Meta
