Hello, colleagues:

It was great seeing everyone and meeting new colleagues at last week's AEJMC convention. I trust that everyone arrived home safely. I will say that I almost missed my 6 am flight because the Blue Sky Shuttle dude refused to leave the hotel at 4 am because another passenger "couldn't get it together" before 4:30 am. So I had to pay another $19 to board another Shuttle to the airport, where I was thoroughly searched and probed for 20 minutes. Talk about invasion of privacy. Then the crying baby on the airplane was another challenge, but I'm happy to report that I helped calm the infant in ways that may help me in the classroom this coming semester. It was my shining moment of the summer!

But I digress.

Please share the following announcement to a journalism professional who may be interested in a teaching professorship for 2011. Please e-mail me directly if you have specific questions about the professorship.

Take care and let's keep the conversations going.
