If you would like to be part of a panel I will propose for AEJ 2012 about what happens when non-racial minorities tell the mass communication stories of people of color working title is Consuming "The Other" (One or two of the papers could be about The Help. The Vice-Head wants others to focus on the appropriation of other race's stories, Disney's Mulan or Pocahontas for example) please send me the following ASAP.
