Hi All,

I need two MAC members to serve on a teaching panel tentatively titled,
"Using Simulation to Examine Discriminatory Attitudes." The title may change to,
"Full Frontal Diversity: Confronting Media Students With Biases and
Stereotypes." The Media and Disability Interest Group (MDIG) is co-sponsoring the session.
The panel aims to encourage journalism and communication students to think
about their attitudes to people who are perceived as different. One MDIG
panelist will use a simulation, "Blue Fly Disease," to examine attitude toward
disability. Please e-mail your willingness to serve immediately, since our proposals
go to AEJMC on Friday, Oct. 29, 2004. Thanks.

Emmanuel U. Onyedike, Ph.D.
MAC Vice Head and Program Chair
