Dear MACers,

I mentioned this briefly at our business meeting at AEJMC, but I wanted to let you all know about an exciting job opportunity here in my Communications dept. at Syracuse University's Newhouse School. We are looking for an assistant/associate professor to start August 2013 to teach courses primarily in the area of media and diversity, broadly defined, as well as sections of our introductory media and society course. A PhD is required, but we will consider strong ABDs close to completion. An active research agenda in the area of media and diversity is expected.

I have attached the full job description; please circulate far and wide to interested colleagues and graduate students.

The online job description can be found at: https://www.sujobopps.com/postings/46231
