Minority Media and Telecommunications Council

Managing Director

The Minority Media and Telecommunications Council (MMTC) is currently
accepting applications for the position of Managing Director. This
full-time position, based in Washington, D.C., is perfect for a candidate
with management and fundraising skills who also has a commitment to the

Founded in 1986, MMTC is a non-profit, non-partisan, public interest civil
rights organization. We advocate equal employment opportunity, minority
ownership, and closing the digital divide. We represent 54 national
organizations before the FCC and courts of appeals, operate a Fellowship
program that has trained 36 minority law students and attorneys in FCC
practice, conduct research, employ student interns, and maintain a website
(www.mmtconline.org) along with several listservs. Every July, we convene
the MMTC Access to Capital Conference, which is the nation¹s largest
gathering of minority media and telecom financiers and entrepreneurs. Since
1997, MMTC has operated the nation¹s only minority owned and only non-profit
media brokerage.
