So forgive me if I missed someone else congratulating our beloved Dr. Paula Poindexter, Texas at Austin (MACer and AEJ past president) for winning the 2016 Blum Research Award for devoting a substantial part of her career promoting research in mass comm.  She will be recognized at the Minneapolis conference in August.
