The Mayborn School of Journalism seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Strategic Communications for Fall 2014.
Candidate will teach primarily advertising courses (but may include public relations classes) at the undergraduate and graduate level. Conducting academic research is also expected.
The Mayborn School of Journalism is an ACEJMC-accredited school and operates Texas’ only accredited journalism master’s program. UNT is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth media market, fifth largest in the country. We enroll approximately 1,000 undergraduate and 60 graduate students in two departments: Strategic Communications and News.
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. ABD required in advertising or related field.
