Note from Amy Lenk, University of Missouri:

The University of Missouri has a new program that allows departments to apply
for funding to bring in members of under-represented groups for an opportunity
to teach a summer course on this campus in the summer of 2003. The salary for
the 2003 four-week Summer Session Multicultural Teaching Scholar will be
$5,000. Additional travel money may be given. Eligibility is restricted to
members of U.S. racial or ethnic minorities or other under-represented groups
nearing the completion of the doctorate or who have completed the Ph.D. within
the past three years.
