Greetings to all,
I, too, agree that an update on the Kerner Commission Report is
important. However, I am currently working with programming chairs
throughout the organization to get co-sponsorships for as many of the
proposed panels as possible. As the chip auction is scheduled for
Saturday, I committed most, if not all, of our chips to
already-submitted proposals and partnerships. One option might be to
roll a presentation on the Kerner Commission into our "State of the
Division" panel, which is required by each division this year. This was
Camilla's suggestion.
In the meantime, I will keep the Kerner Commission Panel Discussion in
mind if something opens up.
Paula Poindexter's suggestion about getting a plenary or a mini-plenary
is also a possibility. To get a mini-plenary at the cost of one-half
chip, I'll have to get three divisions to partner with us and eliminate
something that is currently in the works. I'm open to suggestions.

Wonderful! That's what we need. Three of us are working on the
proposal now--should have it completrd by noon tomorrow. Will be in
