MAC Members,

Just three days until the December 20th deadline for abstracts for the AEJMC Midwinter Conference in Reno, NV.   We have some great reviewers who have set aside some of their winter break to review your research-in-progress abstracts.  

Also, we are taking proposals for keynote panels that will have BROAD appeal to those from the dozen AEJMC divisions participating in this conference.  I recall in 2005 when the conference was hosted by Kennesaw State, we had a panel on state of journalism in the wake of several ethics violations.  Last year at Bowling Green State, we had a keynote panel on community journalism and one on community jorunalism.   I think we're due for one that is "teaching" oriented.  I will submit all panel proposals to the conference host committee where the final decision will be made.
